recon dossier on this place because it's how i roll:

• coming back to the blog after making it last night, took a while to figure out how to "log in" and make a post. can't get there from the blog itself, need to go to bearblog.dev's dashboard
• it's hard to find Bear on any list of blogging sites that Google might spit out, and that's beautiful. it feels like a gated community, with a manual review process that won't and isn't intended to scale™. the flip side is, having been on the other side trying to run such gated communities, i am a bit self-conscious about crashing it and using up the non-scaling resources, either technical or social; about contributing to the eternal september. if i were to drag and drop random photos into one of my dozen half-baked wordpress blogs nobody would bat an eyelash at the storage cost. online resource management and communities are hard.
• comments are WONTFIX, but footnotes!¹ $LATEX$! the venn diagram of the features here and the features i'd want is nearly a circle
• overall good vibes ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
